Equus Ticket Sales Started

Peter Shaffer’s most awaited Broadway production, Equus, started the ticket sales from Monday the 4th of August at the Broadhurst theatre. Through Equus “Harry Potter” fame Daniel Radcliff is making his debut in Broadway and he will be supported by the Tony award winning actor Richard Griffiths. The preview of this widely publicized production starts on September 5th and official opening is scheduled for September 25th. This mystery play is directed by Thea Sharrock and the ticket price ranges from $61.50 to $116.50. Moreover, there are 52 seats that are located on the stage available for each show at Broadway. Equus will have its last show on 8th February 2009.

Daniel Radcliffe and Kate Mulgrew unite for “Equus”

Stars of the screen Kate Mulgrew and the “Harry potter” fame Daniel Radcliffe are joining together for Peter Shaffer’s Equus. This play has its previews scheduled from September 5th and will be officially opened at the Boardhurst Theatre on September 25th. Mulgrew and Radcliffe will be joined by Richard Griffiths, another Harry Potter actor. The play is in controversy as the main character Alan Strang played by Radcliffe appears nude in the drama. Thea Sharrock is the director of Equus and this is her debut in Broadway. Thea has helped Radcliffe shed of his inhibitions and emerge as a brilliant stage artist. The Broadway fans are eagerly waiting for the play to come to their town and will surely booking tickets to watch this play.
