My Broadway Review

Wicked is good, you like good right?

Without a doubt, “Wicked” has become of the biggest broadway hits in the past few years. Taking the familiar story of The Wizard of Oz and setting this play in the pre-Dorothy days has enthralled the audiences. The storyline follows the wicked witch of the west during her not so wicked days. She actually was a decent person at one point, with a heart full of love, but then Dorothy came and gummed up the works real good. Check out the official Wicked website and find out more about this smash hit musical.

Broadway Confessions

January 5th, 2008

A Broadway actor, James Barbour, confessed Thursday that in 2001 he seduced a 15-year-old girl, who visited him backstage. Besides, it has become known that the actor had criminal sexual contact with a high school student who was an aspiring actress also in 2001. Taking into consideration the social status of the actor and his merits on the stage (not to be confused with backstage), the judge agreed to make a deal, under which Mr. Barbour would plead guilty of two misdemeanors, in exchange for a promise that he would be sentenced to 60 days in jail and three years’ probation. Hopefully, Barbour’s overwhelming passion for young girls has come to an end and that the court’s charges won’t spoil the actor’s brilliant career on Broadway.
